Q ~ Do you make a kit to run on just hydrogen?

A. Not yet.
There are rumors about inventors that have accomplished this dream and they seem to have been suppressed.
Here at Eagle-Research we are trying to duplicate past successes and distribute the technology directly to the public.
There will be NO patents and our ‘public domain’ books assure that no one else will be able to get a patent either.
We are finding that this ‘no-patent’ technique ‘bypasses’ traditional vested interest suppression and actually gets working technology out to the pubic.
In our ‘Water as Fuel’ experiments we’ve had projects that spontaneously worked for short periods of time.
We still don’t know the ‘key’ to making a practical ‘water fuel’ system.
The most practical we have is the HyZor Technology and our Water Injection Manual which allow engines to run partially on water. Depending on the fuel, we’ve seen reports as high as 90% water.

Q ~ Why can’t I access my ‘user-only’ features or content?

If you are having any ‘user account’ issues with the website, I recommend you check out this FAQ PDF (click).

Sometimes people think they are logged in when they are not, because the website (as a security feature) automatically logs people out if they are inactive.

The problem is that most browsers don’t update automatically.
Most browsers pull content from pages ‘cashed’ (stored) in the computer, to speed up internet surfing, and those cashed pages don’t show the actual logged out status so it LOOKS like you are still logged in, when you are logged out.

If having troubles accessing ‘user-only’ features of the website, just log out and log back in and it should clear up.

Q ~ Why do you need ‘shipping information’ for downloads?

That’s a good question.  Two reasons pop to mind:

1. PayPal requires at least some limited information to be able to confirm that the transaction is being done legitimately.

2. Our eStore is set up to handle both downloads and physical product, so the order form does ask for more information than is needed for just a download.  Changing that requires programming which costs money and we are spending our money on what, to us, seems like higher priorities (which you will see as the website and our products continue to develop).

Rest assured that your information is state-of-art protected and we do NOT lend, sell or in any way distribute our customer’s data.

Q ~ Why do my capacitors keep exploding?

If they are exploding they are certainly electrolytic and likely DC.
NO electrolytic capacitor, even ones that say AC are not rated for CONTINUOS AC.

Use only oil filled capacitors that are rated for continuos AC.  Look for surplus ‘motor run’ capacitors like you can find here (click).

Q ~ What is your cookie used for?

A cookie is a piece of information from our website that is stored in your web browser’s ‘cookie’ settings.
This information allows the site to retain your choices (like shopping cart and user options) as you browse between site pages in a ‘logged in’ state.
When you log in, a unique, random code is generated by our website and sent to your web browser to be stored as a cookie.  Whenever you go to a new page on our site the web browser sends that code back to our server so we know it is still your browser that is accessing the page.  If no cookie is sent to us with the page request, the server has to assume it is a non-logged-in user trying to access the page, and will say ‘Access Denied’ (unless the page is available to everyone).
This security is obviously important when visiting a page such as your order history or user account settings.

Q ~ Will the RYEM technology reduce my electric bill?

The Reverse Your Electric Meter, Legally (RYEM) technology is not an energy generation technology, it is an interface technology.  It does not, by itself, reduce your electric bill or provide any ‘free’ electricity.

The RYEM technology allows you to build a simple, inexpensive, Grid compatible and very practical synchronous interface that allows you to pump YOUR energy into the Grid.  When you pump energy into the Grid, your electric meter turns backwards (except a ‘racheting’ meter or some of the new ‘smart’ meters).

The RYEM technology solves a couple of very important issues when people are developing their own home-power systems.
1. The cost and maintenance of batteries.  If you ‘store’ your energy in the Grid, as a credit on your electric meter, then you do not need batteries.  BTW, you can get sulphated batteries for free and recover them using my Capacitive Battery Charger technology.
2. The cost of synchronous technology.  When I wrote the RYEM book, the cost of a synchronous interface was $20,000.  The RYEM technique can be done for as little as $20.

When you connect your power system to the Grid, your AC must be exactly in ‘tune’ with the Grid AC or your generator will burn out (even explode).  The RYEM technology uses the exact SAME technique the Grid uses to keep all of it’s interconnected generators in tune with each other; so it is absolutely Grid compatible.  I show you how to do it using surplus parts that you can buy for scrap prices (or even get free).

Where you get your energy is up to you, most people use Solar, wind, hydro, internal or external combustion engines running on eco-fuel and/or bio fuel, LTPC, LENR, etc., (and/or some combined combination of the above).

Once you have energy, in a form that can turn a generator (prime mover making rotary power), you can connect that generator to the Grid using the RYEM technology and feed your power into the Grid.

So excess power you don’t immediately use for yourself is stored in the Grid as a ‘credit’ by making your electric meter turn backwards.

If you ‘store’ enough power that your electric bill is negative, the Utility is legally obligated to pay you for that power.  The rate of payment varies depending on the Utility, usually requiring a contract and an inspection.

Most people just feed in enough power to reduce their electric bill to near nothing and don’t worry about a contract; this is known as guerrilla net metering.

Q ~ Will the HyZor freeze in the Winter?

No.
Electrolyzers of this type have been operated in Canada and Alaska for over a decade with absolutely no issue about freezing.
Think of the electrolyzer kind of like a reverse battery.  Your battery doesn’t freeze because the water is mixed with electrolyte.  It’s the same with the HyZor, the water is mixed with electrolyte and will not freeze even below – 40°C.
That said, electrolyzers (like batteries) become very inefficient when cold.  So it’s a good idea to heat them.  The HyZor is designed to operate efficiently at engine coolant temperatures and we have (in our HyZor Resources and in the HyZor Technology book) full instructions on how to heat the HyZor.

Q ~ Does the fuel cell use electrolyte?

Fuel cells do not use electrolyte; but I think you are confusing fuel cells (which take hydrogen and oxygen as fuel to make electricity and water) with an electrolyzer (often called a generator) which uses electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen.
Our electrolyzer designs, like the on-board ER HyZor, use lye (NaOH) as the electrolyte.
I’ve tested hundreds of electrolytes, electrolyte concentrations, frequencies, plate spacings, etc. I’m always looking for the most efficient electrolyzer design, electrolyte and power supply (more on that elsewhere).  There is a difference between efficiency and practicality.  In my commercial electrolyzer designs I use PRACTICALITY as my main design parameter, sacrificing some efficiency for user-friendlyness and lower cost.
So far, I’ve discovered that lye is the most practical electrolyte, because it produces BG cleanly, efficiently, is low cost, has low toxicity and is fairly easy to acquire.  I’ve designed my electrolyzers to optimize the characteristics of lye so lye (NaOH) will produce 30% more BG than using KOH.
My electrolyzers are over 100% Faraday efficient if you consider both the BG production and the heat produced.  ER1200 WaterTorch independent efficiency test results (without measuring heat energy produced).
A lot of electrolyzers promoted on the internet use baking soda as the catalyst.  The reason baking soda works as an electrolyte is because a small portion of it turns into lye.  The rest of the stuff in baking soda just clogs the system up with impurities and/or turns into poisons.
You can cleanly achieve the same result (inefficient electrolysis) by using a 5% mixture of lye (by weight).  This makes the electrolyte about as benign as citrus juice (see below).
