This is a custom designed and manufactured, HANDY and CONVENIENT adaptor fitting.
This Tower Cap Base Adaptor is easily glued into the base of ANY of the legacy AquaCure Tower Caps, allowing a quick, easy, RELIABLE seal, WITHOUT any Teflon Tape or any wrenches (finger tight does the job)!  It seals with an internal gasket!

Description

AquaCure Tower Cap Base Adaptor
Problem:  The Tower Cap has 3/4 FPT thread and the AquaCure silver water fill stem has 20×1 straight threads.  They are ALMOST the same and proper application of Teflon Tape allows them to seal.
BUT: Too many times, the threads are not properly sealed, leading to leaks that are both inconvenient and can damage the AquaCure.

Solution: This custom designed and manufactured, HANDY and CONVENIENT adaptor fitting.
This Tower Cap Base Adaptor allows a quick, easy, RELIABLE seal, WITHOUT any Teflon Tape or any wrenches (finger tight does the job)!  It seals with an internal gasket!
The Tower Cap Base Adaptor is easily glued into the base of ANY of the existing AquaCure Tower Caps… And then, no more Teflon Tape is needed, you are DONE with that!

This Tower Cap Base Adaptor is built to last a lifetime and the steel version’s gasket is replaceable 🙂
Note that we no longer sell the PVC version.

NOTE: If you have a Union on the base of the Tower Cap, adding a Tower Cap Base Adaptor will make the original 15 inch Tower Cap to Humidifier hose too short.  You can purchase a longer 21 inch hose HERE (or choose the Tower Cap Base Adaptor KIT option)

NOTE:  The Tower Cap Base KIT comes with:
1. A 21 inch Tower Cap to Humidifier hose (because extending the Tower Cap a couple inches makes the original hose too short) and
2. A tube of E6000 glue to seal the steel Tower Cap Base Adaptor onto the Tower Cap base and
3. A steel Tower Cap base adaptor
