BROWN'S GAS (ER HYZOR)
 
The gas generated by the ER HyZor is called 'Brown's Gas'.
 
1. What is Brown's Gas (BG)? 2. Can Brown's Gas (BG) be used as a vehicle fuel? 3. Can Brown's Gas be stored in a tank? 4. Can Brown's Gas increase combustion efficiency? 5. How does the Brown's Gas affect the engine? 6. I've heard that Brown's Gas (BG) explodes. How can it be safe to use in my vehicle?   Q. What is Brown's Gas (BG)?   A. Eagle-Research defines Brown's Gas as: The mixture of gasses coming out of an electrolyzer designed to electrolyze (split) water and does not separate the resulting gasses from each other.   Brown's Gas is a ratio of 2 parts hydrogen to 1 part oxygen and usually contains a significant water vapor component. Research indicates that Brown's Gas has characteristics that cannot be achieved by simply mixing bottled hydrogen and oxygen.   Top Of Page   Q. Can Brown's Gas (BG) be used as a vehicle fuel?   A. Internal combustion engines run extremely well on Brown's Gas. However, it takes more energy, in form of electricity to make the BG than the engine will produce while running on Brown's Gas as its only fuel.   Using Brown's Gas as an engine's only fuel, can NOT generate more power from an internal combustion engine than the electricity it took to make the Brown's Gas. This is because internal combustion engines are only 25%-30% efficient.   Example: 100 watts of electricity can make about 98 watts of Brown's Gas. An internal combustion engine (Using 98 watts of Brown's Gas) will generate about 25 watts of electricity. And so, 73 watts of electricity was thrown away for absolutely nothing.   Better to use the 100 watts of electricity (used to make Brown's Gas) to directly power an electric motor. The electric motor is FAR simpler than an internal combustion engine and operates at 60+ % efficiency.   Having said that, Brown's Gas CAN increase the combustion efficiency of carbon fuels dramatically, using less power to make it than you get back from the combustion efficiency increase (see the HyZor Technology)   Brown's Gas, book 2 and in the 'BG Myth' section of Eagle-Research.com website gives detailed analysis of running internal combustion engines on Brown's Gas.   Top Of Page   Q. Can Brown's Gas (BG) be stored in a tank?   A. Eagle-Research does NOT recommend storing Brown's Gas in any way. BG is primarily a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen &emdash; one of the most explosive mixtures known! As Brown's Gas is compressed, there will come a point at which it will self-explode. The higher the pressure, the more violent the explosion.   To ensure that there is no possibility of dangerous concentrations, ER HyZor technology is specifically designed to produce Brown's Gas ONLY when the engine is actually running AND to consume the Brown's Gas as soon as it is produced.   Top Of Page   Q. Can Brown's Gas increase combustion efficiency?   A. Yes! Our research so far has been with using Brown's Gas to increase the efficiency of internal combustion. We have the world's most practical such technology. It is described in our HyZor Technology book.   Top Of Page   Q. How does the Brown's Gas affect the engine?   A. Brown's Gas contains high-energy hydrogen with a flame speed that is 9-10 times faster than carbon-based fuels. In this application, BG is a catalyst. It helps the carbon-based fuel 'break apart' much easier and faster. Independent studies show that hydrogen ensures a complete burn of the fuel and increases engine torque.   A fast complete burn assures that:   1. You got the maximum possible power from your fuel. First because the fuel has a very short time to burn while the piston and crankshaft are in the optimum configuration to convert heat into power. Second because incomplete burn has some of your fuel burning in the exhaust (catalytic converter) where you cannot get power from it.   2. Your combustion chamber doesn't get engine destroying and efficiency reducing carbon buildups. In fact, if you have carbon buildups, the Brown's Gas will help remove them.   3. Engine oil stays clean longer because less unburned carbon gets into the oil.   4. Pollution is reduced by burning the fuel in the engine.   Top Of Page   Q. I've heard that Brown's Gas (BG) explodes. How can it be safe to use in my vehicle?   A. You are producing the hydrogen on demand; it is never in a stored state. Further, since hydrogen is the lightest known gas and it has the fastest dissipation rate in air. The Brown's Gas produced by a ER HyZor cannot form a combustible mixture in a ventilated area.   Further, Brown's Gas is entirely non-toxic (made from water).
